The Book of No Hope is a celebration of the story so far of the D*Haus company. Originally commissioned as one of the pledges made by D*Haus for the successful Kickstarter campaign in 2013; the book is a diary and reflects all the good and bad times the D*Haus has been through since establishing in 2011. The book describes all the key projects to date with a special running commentary from the directors.
In Part 1 of The End the explosion of colour and concept dance in a layered manor, the colour acts as a screen with which to view the fragmented geometries of the drawn lines. In Part 2, the coloured screen is removed to expose the line drawing, this represents the drawing as a vulnerable object. In Part 3 the drawing itself is now stripped even further to focus on the lines that are left, a large ominous black colour now creeps in to the frame as the print waits for its own end to finally begin.
“Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. but it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning
