Voted London´s best cinema by Time Out readers. The former Salvation Army Hall in Crouch End, North London has been transformed into a dynamic new cultural venue called ArtHouse. D*Haus was appointed to take the project from initial planning stage through to completion and following a successful planning submission in Spring 2013 D*Haus have been involved in the detailed design and development of this new cultural venue.
The design aimed to maximise the use of the existing space while being sympathetic to the classic features of the original building. The cinema will have two state of the art screens totalling approx 190 seats which will be run in association with Curzon Cinemas. A cafe space at the front of the building will host exhibitions, live music and comedy.
“The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls.
