The 2023 Brick Awards

We are thrilled to announce that the Arches, have been shortlisted for the 2023 Brick Awards. The Brick Awards, hosted by the Brick Development Association, celebrates outstanding brick architecture and craftsmanship.

Located in the Dartmouth Park conservation area of North-West London, “The Arches” comprises six exquisite, terraced townhouses. Throughout the project, we have paid close attention to the elevational order of the façade and the brickwork bonding patterns to create a facade that stands out in both its attention to detail and its appreciation of the simple brick.

For the facade work of “Arches,” we sourced the Ibstock Bexhill Red Multi brick. This particular brick selection adds a touch of warmth and character to the exteriors, complementing the surrounding architectural heritage and nearby Listed Buildings. To further enhance the visual appeal and create a sense of distinction, we explored different brick bonding patterns. These patterns not only differentiate the various areas of the building but also provide order and a cohesive aesthetic to each facade.
